NAME: David Wiermers

LIVELIHOOD: Truck Driver/Horse Handler

IS THE PIK-UP TOUGH ENOUGH TO TOW HORSE FLOATS? YES!

David bought his Pik-Up approximately a year & a half ago mostly for work & horse handling activities he’s involved in. He was so happy with the first purchase that he went out & bought a second Pik-Up, which turned out to be just as good!. David owns both the dual cab & single cab 4x4 Pik-Up models.

WHY DID YOU BUY A PIK-UP?

TOWING CAPACITY:
David wanted a solid four wheel drive that could pull a horse float, & get any hay & produce in the back, as well as do any other activities that are required on the farm.

ORIGINAL LOOKING:
When he first saw it, he really liked the look of it, & like Ryan Cox, David thought - why buy a second hand vehicle when you can buy a brand new one for the same price.

BEST FEATURE/S:

He loves that it starts every morning & is super reliable! It’s good on fuel, gets him from A to B & is a fantastic value for money brand new vehicle. He’s been able to use it for driving to work & when on farm, as well as pulling horse floats easily. It has the grunt to get up hills & is great on fuel achieving 800km on a tank in both models. Inside it has a good CD player & stereo system, which makes longer rides a joy.

FINAL THOUGHTS…

David says he’s had a good run with the car & it pulls a float of two horses better than any other competitor he’s ever driven in the past....
